Privacy Policy — Nymera
Nymera ("we", "our", or "the app") is a lucid dreaming training and journal application developed by Sokyra Labs. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Data We Collect
Nymera stores all your personal data locally on your device. We do not collect or transmit your personal journal data to our servers.
The following information may be processed:
- Dream journal entries — titles, descriptions, emotions, clarity ratings, and dream signs you record. Stored locally only via SharedPreferences on your device.
- App settings — language, date format, notification preferences, WBTB alarm time, and reality check schedule. Stored locally on your device.
- Advertising data — the app uses Google AdMob to display ads (free version only). AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalisation. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Purchase data — if you purchase Nymera Premium, the transaction is processed by RevenueCat and Google Play. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Google Play's Privacy Policy.
2. How We Use Data
- To store and display your dream journal entries and statistics
- To send reality check notifications according to your schedule
- To set WBTB alarms based on your preferences
- To display personalised lucid dreaming techniques and guidance
- To display advertisements via Google AdMob (removed after Premium purchase)
- To process in-app purchases via RevenueCat and Google Play
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties, except:
- Google AdMob — advertising identifiers for ad delivery (free version only)
- RevenueCat — purchase verification and subscription management for Nymera Premium
- Google Play — payment processing for in-app purchases
4. Data Storage and Security
All your dream journal entries and settings are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences. No journal data is uploaded to any server. You can delete all data at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings or uninstalling the app.
5. Notifications
Nymera may send local push notifications for reality checks and WBTB alarms. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any external server communication. You can disable notifications at any time in the app settings or your device's notification settings.
6. Children's Privacy
Nymera is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Your Rights
Since all personal data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing app data in your device settings.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
