Privacy Policy — Kapva
Kapva ("we", "our", or "the app") is a personal finance tracking application developed by Sokyra Labs. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Data We Collect
Kapva stores all financial data (accounts, transactions, categories, debts, goals) locally on your device. We do not collect or store your personal financial data on our servers.
The following information may be processed:
- Financial data — transactions, account balances, categories, and goals you enter. Stored locally only.
- AI queries — when you use the AI assistant, a summary of your financial data (without personally identifying information) is sent to Google Gemini API to generate insights. No data is stored on our side.
- Advertising data — the app uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization. See Google's Privacy Policy.
2. How We Use Data
- To provide core app functionality (tracking, statistics, reports)
- To generate AI-powered financial insights via the Gemini API
- To display relevant advertisements via AdMob
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties, except:
- Google Gemini API — anonymized financial summaries for AI responses
- Google AdMob — advertising identifiers for ad delivery
4. Data Storage and Security
All your financial data is stored locally on your device using an encrypted SQLite database. You can export and delete your data at any time from the app's Settings screen.
5. Biometric Authentication
If you enable biometric lock, the app uses your device's built-in biometric APIs (fingerprint / Face ID). Biometric data is never accessed or stored by the app — it is handled entirely by your device's operating system.
6. Children's Privacy
Kapva is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Your Rights
You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing app data in your device settings. For any privacy-related requests, contact us at the email below.
